Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy in Wiltshire

When you look across the surface of a pond, every waterlily appears to be in a different stage of its life. Some are tight buds just beginning to rise, some are vibrant and fully open, and others are weathering a storm. Because no two lilies are the same, the environment they need to thrive is different for each one.

At Waterlily Therapy Ltd, we believe that "one size fits all" is a myth that often leaves people feeling frustrated or like they have "failed" their own growth process. The truth is, you haven't failed; you simply might not have been using the right support for your current chapter.

My approach is built on the belief that we must support the whole person, looking beyond surface challenges to understand the unique individual beneath.

The Waterlily Toolkit

To support you in the best way possible, I offer a "Tailored Toolkit." Rather than using a rigid, one-size-fits-all approach, I take the time to learn about your unique challenges during our initial consultation. From there, I select the most helpful, distinct tools for your specific journey, ensuring the support we build together is exactly what you need for this moment in time:

  • Psychotherapy: This is about the "roots." It provides a safe, reflective space to understand, process, and navigate past experiences or deep-seated anxiety.
  • Hypnotherapy: For when you want to change the "program." It allows us to gently bypass the noise of the conscious mind that can help create lasting, subconscious shifts, such as habits, sleep, fears, or confidence.
  • Health & Wellness Coaching: Future-focused and action-oriented. It's for chapters where you need strategy, clarity, and accountability to help you reach your next big goal.
  • HypnoMenopause®: A specialised hypnotherapeutic programme designed to help you navigate the physical and emotional shifts of menopause, which can help you reclaim your sense of self and your "cool."
  • Somasense®: A very gentle and effective specialised hypnotherapeutic form of somatic therapy that addresses the "body's story." Because stress can become physically held, Somasense® can help you release the weight of past experiences that words alone cannot always reach.

A Holistic Partnership

At Waterlily Therapy Ltd, my work is rooted in a truly holistic partnership. Rather than just meeting you where you are, we look at the whole picture of your life—your mind, your body, and your lifestyle. This is designed so that the support we build together feels natural, sustainable, and resonates beautifully with your individual lifestyle.

The magic of this approach is its flexibility. By tailoring the journey, we support you as a whole person. We move between deep reflection and practical action as your needs change, ensuring you always have the right resource at the right time. Studies within integrative practice suggest that utilising multiple therapeutic tools can often be highly supportive compared to a single-track approach, as it respects the complexity of the human experience.¹

This collaborative framework invites a process that flows naturally with your current stage, rather than working against it. We move entirely at your unique pace, allowing you to navigate the shadows at a speed that feels right for you.² My role is to hold the space and provide the right support at the right time to help you reach The Surface and bloom in your own way.³

Are you ready to build your bespoke toolkit?

You don't need to have all the answers yet. My role is to listen to your story and help you decide which part of the toolkit will best serve your current chapter.

Reaching 'The Surface' is a journey we take one step at a time.
